Tooth Extractions
Sometimes necessary to relieve pain or eliminate infection.
While periodontists traditionally do everything they can to save teeth, there are times when a tooth requires removal. Tooth extractions are oftentimes necessary in order to relieve the body of any pain or infection that may be present. Our specialists are well trained in determining whether a tooth requires extraction. Our extractions are conducted with the highest standard of care in order to minimize the amount of trauma to the area. Most tooth extractions are performed in conjunction with bone grafting in order to preserve the jaw bone for future implant placement.
